This was Denise's Motto. She always took care of the small details. The Inland Valley House of Prayer would not be possible if it weren't for Denise Villacress, affectionately known as "Mamma D."  She was a master craftsman in creating and preparing atmospheres for the Holy Spirit to come in and grace us with his presence.  She was kind, funny, and a dedicated friend and Board Member.  

 

Denise will never be forgotten, and the Inland Valley House of Prayer will always be part of her legacy. If we could sum up Denise's life in one word, it would be "Love."  She loved her husband, her cats, IVHOP, and most importantly she loved God with all her heart.  We have no doubt she is in His presence.

We are so thankful for the time we had with her, the laughs, the long board meetings. It is something the Inland Valley House of Prayer will be forever grateful for. She worked and dedicated her time to this organization even as her natural vitality was waning.  Her laugh and anecdotes will always be remembered and cherished. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.  Until we meet again my dear friend.
